In Kansas City, so-called community radio has mostly been hijacked by state-run media outfits.
It's mostly propaganda with a bit of news and no personality.
90.9 is a bit different because they mostly focus on hipster music and their smallish community of listeners.
We like their offerings if only because it's like stepping into an ultra-cool coffee shop for a moment and checking on the antics of trendy people.
Accordingly, their holiday content is worthy of consideration.
