SCHLAGLE STUDENT STABBED!!!

Tragic slice of life at a local school this morning.

Here's a portion of the story . . .

The stabbing happened shortly before 7 a.m. Students were immediately rushed inside, and an ambulance responded and took the victim away. The victim is expected to survive, according to the Kansas City, KS, School District.

There was a heavy police presence at the front of the school following the incident, and police tape was put up.

A school district spokesperson said that the stabbing happened in the security line heading into the school. There were several students nearby who witnessed the situation, she said.

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -- A student was hospitalized Tuesday morning after being stabbed outside of Schlagle High School in KCK. Two other students were taken into police custody. The stabbing happened shortly before 7 a.m. Students were immediately rushed inside, and an ambulance responded and took the victim away.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police were called to F.L. Schlagle High School Tuesday morning after a student was stabbed. According to the school district, the stabbing occurred outside the building right around 7 a.m. The victim was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injures. Two students were taken into custody.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police in Kansas City, Kansas, responded to a stabbing Tuesday morning at F.L. Schlagle High School. A district spokesperson told KSHB 41 News that two students are in the custody of police and one student sustained non-life-threatening injuries from being stabbed.

quite some time. We do know that parents of course are nervous and that's understandable. Right? So we have allowed them to come and pick up their students if they if they would like to do that. What was the school's response to this?
