Olathe neighborhood residents worried after double homicide takes place overnight

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Family and friends have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run crash near the Ameristar Casino as Casey Cline. Marvel Odor, a friend and coworker of Casey said, "I cried on my way home and throughout yesterday. Even in my sleep I could still see his smile."


UPDATE: Olathe police release Saturday morning homicide victims' names

Police have identified the man and woman who were shot and killed early Saturday morning. Angela Santiago, 45, and Jose Arellano-Rascon, 42, were found dead inside a car Saturday around 1:30 a.m. Both were from Tonganoxie, Kansas. Officers still need your help finding the four to five men they say are responsible for the shooting.


Double homicide leaves Olathe Police, community shocked

OLATHE, KS - The Olathe Police Department has released new information in an early Saturday morning double homicide that has left police and a community shocked. "It was a little after 1 or so and I got up because I wanted some ice cream, and I was in the kitchen fixing some and I opened the fridge and I heard pop pop pop," Ron Messinger, a neighbor who witnessed the scene, said.
