Meth Town Lady Shot Twice At Horrible Restaurant Chain

Shooting was reported just before 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of 54th Street Grill on E. 38th Terrace. When officers arrived on scene they located a woman who had been shot in the leg after a domestic violence incident in the parking lot.

The victim's injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. She was taken to an area hospital in a private vehicle.

Police in Independence said they are investigating after a woman was shot in the parking lot of a restaurant on East 38th Terrace.Authorities said that at 7:45 p.m., police received a call about shots fired in the area and located a crime scene in the parking lot of the 54th Street Bar and Grill.Police said they learned a woman had been taken to a hospital by private car after being shot twice in the leg.
