Kansas & Missouri COVID Numbers Spike Ahead Of Turkey Day

Pandemic numbers at the outset of the holiday season have already started to rise.

- The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said Wednesday the state has 452,909 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and there have been 6,634 deaths since the outbreak started. Kansas only updates its case totals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

- The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services said Monday there have been 730,444 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the outbreak and 12,431 deaths. Overall, the state said 57.4% of the population has received at least one dose and 50.6% have completed vaccination.
