Kansas City Stays Winning LGBTQ+ Equality Scorecard

New toilet rules and timely social media posts have earned the praise of a high-profile political funding organization. 

Even better or worse . . . The "perfection" celebrated by 12th & Oak politicos seems to exclude a not-so-long-ago streak of trans victims murdered on local streets in horrific crimes that don't support the progressive idea of intersectionality that will get naive people killed in most working-class Kansas City neighborhoods.

Earlier this year, the city council approved all-gender restroom options at city properties and raised the Progress Pride flag over City Hall for the first time.

“For decades Kansas City has been at the forefront of our region in making sure we have equality for all, our employees, our residents, our friends, our neighbors and our tourists,” Mayor Quinton Lucas said. “Everyone in Kansas City belongs and everyone in Kansas City is welcome.”
