Man arrested in Johnson County for alleged indecent liberties with child

JOHNSON COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -- A man has been arrested in Johnson County for aggravated indecent liberties with a minor. According to a court document, Jake A. Ruthrauff had a warrant issued for his arrest for aggravated indecent liberties with a child under 14 years old.

Austin Matthew Little, 20, of Liberty is charged with second-degree murder for killing his mother, resisting arrest and other related crimes.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City, Missouri, man was convicted for shooting and killing Thomas Rice on Jan. 4, 2018 , the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office announced Monday. Aasim Karim, 56, was convicted on one count of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.


Woman charged with murder of volunteer leaving KCK church

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Two months after a woman was shot to death as she left church, prosecutors charged another woman with her death. Investigators returned to North Third Street and Richmond Avenue Monday morning to announce that 29-year-old Melanie Perry was charged with first-degree felony murder and level 3 discharge of a firearm in the shooting death of 62-year-old Lillian Jackson.
