The ratings sucked and proved that "radio days" were over in Kansas City a long time ago.

"Even with the Chiefs, The Wolf only pulled a 4.9 last month up a little from 3.4 and 3.5 late spring. The Point or 99.7 is just as bad but stays bad not able to get off an avg 3.4 rating."

Mike Kennedy To Retire As PD Of KZPT/WDAF-FM

Kennedy joined Audacy in September 2019 after previously retiring as VP/Programming for Steel City Media at the end of 2016. Kennedy joined then CHR " Q104" KBEQ in 1991 and rose to PD/morning host when it flipped to Country in 1993.
