Here's the latest homicide report after the latest shooting victim dies from injuries . . .

Homicide - - E 54th St/Wabash Ave

Last night around 8:15pm, officers were called to E 54th Street and Prospect Avenue in regard to sounds of gunshots in the area.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim, an adult male, inside a vehicle near E 54th Street and Wabash Avenue, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS.

Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel responded to process the scene for evidence and speak to witnesses.

During the overnight hours, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - UPDATE, Nov. 1 | The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital overnight. Detectives and crime scene personnel responded to process the scene and talk to witnesses. Police have now said they were initially called to East 54th Street and Prospect Avenue for the sound of gunshots, and they then found the victim in a car at East 54th Street and Wabash Avenue.
