Let's be fair . . . There are many proponents of this public healthcare policy who believe that its effective and gladly support County Exec Frank White in his leadership against COVID.
However . . .
Sadly, this story reinforces a tragic fact about American life: Republicans and Democratic Party supporters can seemingly no longer occupy the same public spaces.
Savvy small biz people pay attention to the biz climates in their community because their margin for error is very thin.
Higher property taxes and negative perceptions among independent investors . . . Like it or not, the courthouse is quickly earning a reputation as an economically unfriendly place for those on the wrong side of their politics.
