A deadly gas station shooing has sparked an interesting protest/vigil following news of the homicide.

Early Saturday afternoon, Riverside Police and Fire Departments responded to a call where someone was reported to be shot at QuikTrip at 4600 NW Gateway Dr. Upon arrival, officials found a person near their vehicle, parked at the gas pumps.

Police have a person of interest in custody after a deadly shooting at a Riverside Quiktrip.It happened Saturday at the gas station off Gateway Avenue and North Vivion Road. Police found the victim near a car next to the gas pumps.

RIVERSIDE, MO (KCTV) --- Police in Riverside are investigating a fatal shooting after a victim was found near a gas pump at the QuikTrip. Officers responded to a shooting call at around 12:40 p.m. Saturday. Once arriving, they found the victim near a vehicle parked next to the gas pumps.
