New KCI Question: Which Councilmember Wants Replace Mayor Q?!?

We'll know the answer to the headline question in this afternoon.

Interested parties will likely switch their vote on the New KCI concessions deal. I assume they'll quickly make up some quip about transparency or toss up a variety of acceptable word salad.

Council Lady Melissa Robinson has signaled a Mayoral run behind the scenes because she doesn't have a sense of humor and seems to believe her own nonsense. She could also switch her vote but most people would rather ignore EVERYTHING she does . . .

Nevertheless . . .

TKC thinks that Council lady Parks-Shaw MIGHT be just a bit more savvy about the opportunities presented to her.

Mayor Q has angered the top law firms in Kansas City. Now they have a chance to make history and help their cause. 

The next progressive milestone for Kansas City: An African-American female Mayor. 

By switching up her vote and asking for a pause on this secretive deal . . . Council Lady Parks-Shaw raises the eyebrows of every big law firm in town and puts herself in a position to make friends more influential than The Mod Squad that currently surrounds Mayor Q. 

It's a risk and she's probably better off just running for another term . . . Where she'll mostly work to back up her hubby who is also on the 12th & Oak payroll and then fade into the background whilst collecting $75K per year for part-time work.

However . . . 

Insiders know that Mayor Q has signed on for a serious challenge by ramming through this sketchy deal and taking ONE BILLION DOLLARS out of the pockets of local law firms. Sadly, the friends he's helping don't have pockets as deep as the international corporations he has angered.

And so . . . The Kansas City ruling class are now looking for an acceptable candidate to challenge Mayor Q . . . In fact, more than one.
