American Airlines cancels more than 1,500 flights over Halloween weekend

Halloween weekend proved to be a horror for American Airlines, as the company canceled more than 1,500 flights between Friday and Sunday. More than 600 of those cancellations were made for trips scheduled to depart on Sunday, CNN reported, citing the FlightAware tracking service.
