KANSAS CITY SUFFERS TRIPLE MURDER MASS SHOOTING!!!

The sounds of gunfire in the urban core brought Kansas City police to a horrific scene on Saturday afternoon.

Here is the first report . . .

Homicide 27th and Spruce

This afternoon right before 4pm officers were called to 27th and Spruce on sounds of gunshots.  While officers were on the way, the call was upgraded to a shooting call with multiple victims.

When officers arrived they located 3 shooting victims unresponsive here at the scene, one female and two males.  EMS responded and declared all three victims deceased here at the scene.

There is very little information regarding suspects at this time and detectives are asking the public’s help for any information.

Detectives are canvassing for witnesses and crime scene investigators are processing all the evidence to hopefully give detectives a better idea of what led up to this shooting.

The ages of the victims are not known at this time but detectives will he working to identify them this evening.

If anyone saw anything here or has any information they are asked to contact the Homicide Unit directly at 235-5043 or the TIPS hotline anonymously at 474-TIPS.  There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Unofficially, this brings the KCMO homicide count to 116 compared with 148 at this time last year and 114 the year before that . . .

KCPD investigating triple homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is investigating a triple homicide at 28th and Spruce. Officers were dispatched on a call of gunshots to 27th and Spruce that was elevated to a shooting call with multiple victims while en route. The shooting happened Saturday just before 4 p.m.
