Kansas City Stays Losing Drivers For The Freebie Bus

Blame the plague, Prez Biden or the rigors of one of the toughest jobs in Kansas City . . . There's simply no denying that the Kansas City bus system is a hot mess right now. 

To wit . . .

JUST AS MANY TKC READERS PREDICTED . . . FREE BUS RIDES SPARKED FAIL FOR THE KANSAS CITY BUS SYSTEM!!!

We could point to macroeconomic policy that most readers wouldn't understand (Don't worry, we don't either). . . 

Suffice it to say . . . 

Common sense tells us that giving away something for free diminishes its value. 

Or at least that's what all of the strippers I've tried to "date" keep telling me. 

And so . . . 

The blame for this bus crisis should be directed back at 12th & Oak. 

Here's the word . . . 

"The bus route service interruptions are also credited to an increase in COVID-19 cases and quarantines, retirements among drivers. The agency is working to update riders to unexpected and daily through alerts."

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Cancelations, detours and unexpected route changes to the RideKC bus system is keeping many commuters waiting for a ride. These cancelations in-part because of the shortage of bus drivers that's not only an issue in Kansas City but all around the country.
