The original KMBC 9 news station has been converted into a place where the community can gather for friendship and fun. The building is now officially the Kirk Family YMCA. The new YMCA is now open for business and it's looking nothing like the former Lyric Opera House and home of the Channel 9 newsroom.Now it's full of space for cardio classes, yoga and strength training.
