Kansas City Mid-Continent Public Library Stays Losing Diversity

The newspaper crafts a hit piece in order to target the "tyranny" of public library board members. 

However, buried in their ranting is a relevant bit of data that needs to be improved . . .

"Nonwhite employees were relegated to low-level positions, the audit found. Only one branch within the library system was managed by a person of color and no minorities were assistant managers at the time of the audit. That branch manager recently retired — so there are no people of color in branch management positions. However, there were three people of color in senior management roles."

Sadly, most of this report his hidden by a paywall in much the same way that hottie Jordan has departed the glam model game and now works as a health influencer in order to educate the masses.

Meanwhile . . . The Internets remains a better resource than most taxpayer funded "public" libraries that are now mired in politics.

'These ideas are Marxist' - KC-area public library rejects its own diversity audit

A trustee for the Mid-Continent Public Library mistakenly believes the organization's diversity and inclusion work is akin to Marxism, the social, political and economic theory commonlylinked to communism. And we have to question if Yummy Pandolfi should serve on a board that must provide programming and employment opportunities for people from all walks of life.
