Kansas City Endures COVID Mask Mandate Performance Art

This isn't a newsflash . . .

It's nothing more or less than a reality check regarding life on local streets that has been mostly ignored by our hapless mainstream media.

ALMOST NOBODY IS WEARING COVID MASK DESPITE LOCAL ORDERS!!!

Online trolls will mistake this for a good thing but over the course of the pandemic we've noted that COVID-19 is, in fact, REAL and has claimed the lives of MILLIONS

Vulnerable people and those who need to be careful to avoid infection remain at risk . . . Some flimsy masks never provided much protection but at least they offered a semblance of solidarity.  

Now . . . 

In Kansas City the "chin mask" dominates local gathering places as more and more people forgo the theatrics of the masks altogether.  

Meanwhile, local politicos seem to favor face coverings and seem to enjoy the additional layer of etiquette and regulation imposed on the public.

As the Missouri Attorney General fights mask mandates, taxpayers foot the bill to defend them

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt can sue cities, counties and school districts over mask mandate measures aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19 without costing his office anything. That's because Schmitt's office uses salaried lawyers on staff to pursue such cases. The same can't be said for some of the defendants Schmitt has sued this year.

Covid: Are people wearing masks less often?

This claim is not currently reflected in the ONS research. Between the start of August and 16 October, the weekly number of Covid cases rose from 180,964 to 304,862. However, the proportion of people telling the ONS they had worn masks while shopping in the previous seven days dropped from 92% to 82%.
