Kansas City 2021 Homicide #124: Deadly Shooting Then Car Crash

Homicide Meyer and Olive

Last night about 9:15pm officers were dispatched to Meyer and Olive on an injury accident.  When they arrived with EMS they located a vehicle that had crashed into a tree, and the driver was unresponsive.  EMS began treatment of the driver, and transported him to the hospital.  During the course of treatment it was discovered he had been shot.  He was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Detectives were notified a time later, that the victim, an adult male, had died.

Detectives and crime scene personnel processed the original scene at the time of the call, and are continuing to follow up on the case in the hopes that anyone saw something in that area around that time.
