TKC TOLD YOU SO: KANSAS CITY ROYALS FANS WHO JUMPED ON THE WORLD SERIES BANDWAGON QUICKLY AND PREDICATABLY ABANDONED THE TEAM WHEN THINGS GOT TOUGH!!!

Here we are . . . 88 losses and a global pandemic leaves the home team without a reliable fan base.

"The Royals finished 21st in attendance among MLB's 30 franchises, and the club's attendance was down significantly from prior years. For the Royals, this season's 2021 total home attendance came to 1.2 million, an average of 14,316 fans a game. Total attendance declined 22% from 1.48 million in 2019, when the Royals ranked 27th."

Of course optimistic PR hacks will tell us that these numbers are exactly the reason we need Downtown Baseball . . . 

But more realistic souls understand that that Kansas City Royals are DOOMED to years of "rebuilding" that shouldn't be paid for by the broke-ass voters of this cowtown.
