American Royal 'Belles' Defy Kansas City COVID Mask Mandate?!?

An intense COVID controversy confronts Kansas City tradition and the tense return to normal. 

To wit . . . 

AMERICAN ROYAL DEBUTANTES SEEMINGLY PREP TO VIOLATE THE KANSAS CITY COVID MASK MANDATE!!!

The most “elite” organization in the city is having its annual ball this Saturday evening in KCMO.  Roughly 500 attendees at the Muehlebach Hotel downtown.

They have mandated vaccines for attendance. Yet they plan to defy the KCMO mask mandate. The Marriott Downtown KC/Muehlebach doesn’t track the vaccination status of its employees. The KCMO health order mandates that the only way an event can avoid wearing masks is if “all present” can verify that they are not fully vaccinated. 

Does this organization not care about the safety of “the help?”  I don’t know the answer to that question.

It seems the organization wants to reference safety for mandating the vaccines, yet defy a local health safety order because. . . I don’t know, it would be a shame to mask their debutantes???? Must be that science thing again . . .

The organization is telling everyone that unless you are vaccinated, you cannot be in any of the areas they are occupying on the Muehlbach side of the hotel. How inclusive . . . 

And so . . . 

TKC FIRST!!! AS A PUBLIC SERVICE AND TRIBUTE TO SCIENCE!!! TKC DEMANDS THAT THESE DEBUTANTES SHOULD MASK UP OR SERVE THEIR OWN FOOD!!!

Either way . . .

The point here is simply to demonstrate, yet again, how there is one set of rules for the plebs whilst the elite CLEARLY play by different rules.
