In America, over 8,200 fatal accidents were recorded during the fall months of 2019. Using data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA), this infographic uses data to determine which cities and states across the country have the highest rates of fatal car collisions on the road. According to the research, it was determined that it was Jackson, Mississippi that had the highest rate of fatal car collisions in the fall months, coming in at 9.62 fatal crashes per every 100,000 residents.

Kansas City ranks 4th.
