This morning we hinted that the former Super Bowl champs were confronting some serious challenges this season.

And now our TKC blog community snark has become news fact. 

To wit . . . 

THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CONFRONT THEIR FIRST LOSING STREAK IN YEARS!!!

They're now at the bottom of the AFC West . . . 

As we've noted previously . . . The team was never in danger of becoming a "dynasty" and over the years the franchise has often performed better as the underdog. 

However . . . 

There are some serious challenges confronting the team that fans should consider rather than tuning out all criticism in favor of hype. 

Even worse . . . COVID still threatens the team and their fans. 

Accordingly . . .

Final score: Chiefs commit 4 turnovers, falling to Chargers 30-24

For the second straight week, the Kansas City Chiefs committed incredibly costly turnovers that prevented them from winning a game they had a great chance of winning. Three of the four turnovers came very early - but the fourth was an errant throw by quarterback Patrick Mahomes late in the fourth quarter.
