"The unrest led to more police officers arriving on scene.

"During the meeting, there were tense moments inside and out the pleasant hill high school auditorium.

"The district has 21 positive COVID-19 cases. One-hundred-eighty staff and students are in quarantine for exposure. There have been more positive cases in the first nine days of school than halfway through of all last school year."

Fights break out, one person handcuffed following Pleasant Hill School Board meeting

The Pleasant Hill Board of Education voted unanimously to require masks in its schools.More than 7% of the district's population is currently in quarantine for COVID-19.Following the announcement of the board's decision, several people were throwing fits and hitting one another in the parking lot.
