Early morning fire destroys Smuggler's Inn

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department is investigating a fire at the Smuggler's Inn near Interstate 435 and Front Street. The call came in around 3 a.m. when a passerby saw the fire and called 911. At this point, no injuries have been reported.

Flames destroy Kansas City bar; police investigating as arson

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- A fire in Kansas City is being investigated as arson. The flames destroyed Palmeras Disco located at 1650 Universal Plaza Dr., and fire officials say they're working to find who started it. A passerby saw flames and smoke off the highway about 3 a.m.

Fire Destroys vacant restaurant property

This is what's left of the old Smuggler's Inn restaurant in Executive Park off Universal Avenue near Front Street and Interstate 435. Last night at approximately 3 a.m. Kansas City Missouri firefighters responded to the scene of a structure fire.
