Kansas City Real Estate Comeback FAILS!!!

Despite home buying hype, the local real estate selling season turned out to be a bust.

Here's a bit of proof . . .

In the 39 counties surrounding Kansas City which Conant represents, the average sale price for a single-family home so far in 2021 is $301,504. When looking at the same time frame in 2019, homes sold on average for $247,418, and the number was $261,359 in 2020.

So far this year, homes last an average of 25 days on the market. About half as long as in 2020 and 2019.

Kansas City area real estate market showing signs of cooling

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - There is still much more demand than supply in the real estate market around Kansas City, Missouri, but Tony Conant, president of the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, believes the market is showing signs of cooling.
