Recent changes to the city hall website and the city clerk's website have disappointed residents who use the taxpayer funded resource to garner information.
Real talk . . .
Without any notice or public participation . . . The administration of Mayor Q wrecked the KCMO website even worse so that finding documents and ordinances is extremely difficult.
However . . .
Rather than provide transparency, the Mayor's office engages in culture war one-upmanship against Missouri GOP rivals in Jeff City who smacked down an LGBT exhibit.
Here's the humble brag that's supposed to distract the weak-minded but doesn't really fool people who prioritize local government accessibility . . .
"Did you know #KCMO has a web page dedicated to all of the historic and recent legislation around LGBTQ+ rights? Check it out and read the latest news!"
The welcome message for the gullible . . .
"Kansas City recognizes and values the LGBTQ+ community."
