Over the past few years attendance has been down so any reports of a "comeback" would be mostly propaganda. 

Still . . .

Other than the random mugging and drunken drama . . . Most are looking forward to a somewhat normal event with a slightly scaled back crowd thinned out from fear of COVID and social justice ranting that advocated for violence.

The event was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but organizers say it's ready to return in a big way for 2021.

A political action committee is seeking to recall Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and several city council members. As the Kansas City Beacon's Emily Wolf reports, the PAC is almost solely focused on supporting the police. Also, after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns, the Plaza Art Fair returns.
