SOURCE: KMBC A police standoff in south Kansas City, Missouri ended peacefully Tuesday afternoon.Kansas City police said officers were called Tuesday morning to a townhouse near 99th Street and Wornall Road on a report of disturbance involving a person armed with a gun.Authorities said officers contacted a woman outside the home who said that a man armed with a weapon had assaulted her and another woman.She was able to get outside to safety and call police.
