Kansas City Country Club Plaza Repaint After Riots

A development company continues to invest in Kansas City's embattled Country Club Plaza and seems to be attempting to craft a more diverse vision for the outdoor mall after racially charged riots nearly destroyed the entertainment district last year.

Here's the story . . .

"Block & Company and SprayKC are bringing in talented mural artists from around the country to paint the entire South wall of the building from top to bottom. Some of the artists will be painting the building during the Plaza Art Fair which could be really cool for people to stop by and watch."

Block & Company, Inc., Realtors and SprayKC are very excited to announce phase two of the 5-story mural project on the Plaza Parkway Building located at 4620 Mill Creek Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri. Ten renowned muralists from around the country will be arriving to paint portions of the South wall starting September 12th, 2021.
