KANSAS CITY COUNCILMAN ERIC BUNCH RECALL CRUNCH TIME!!!

The deadline quickly approaches as pro-police activists work to remove a progressive Kansas City councilman over his vote to "defund" police.

To wit . . .

Nobody said direct Democracy was easy and, like it or not, there's no arguing with the commitment of these grassroots activists.

Accordingly, here's the latest word from the pro-police camp . . . 

We have 2 days left on our 10 day extension and still have not received proper documentation from the city clerk.  We hired an attorney to represent us and he sent questions to be answered our our behalf to the city attorney last Friday.  He followed up yesterday and as of now the city has been unresponsive. 

This is just an example of why we need new leaders in KC.   

On the upside we have continued to collect signatures and feel confident we will be successful despite the obstacles they keep throwing our way.

UPDATE  . . .

The petitioners heard back from the city's lawyer moments ago and learned they'll be getting an extra day to collect the 2673 valid signatures required to recall the council dude.
