Denizens of our blog community didn't think this move was a good idea and predictably it STAYS LOSING.
Check the totals for those who haven't seen them already . . .
"The petition effort, trying to trigger a recall election of KC councilman @EricWBunch , has failed. City clerk's office says the petitioners needed 2,673 signatures but only got 2,453. Recall efforts are notoriously difficult."
Again, most www.TonysKansasCity.com readers didn't hold out much hope for the idea and instead of getting mired in "sour grapes" and claim the process was rigged (when, in fact, it was fair and open) it's more productive to try and decipher what this means for local elections moving forward.
