Streetcar Extension Shuts Down Part Of Kansas City Main Street

The cowtown toy train continues its path of destruction with inconvenience for just about everybody this week.

Actually, the damage will continue indefinitely given that it's all just a massive gentrification scheme.

Here's the word from the benefactors of rigged gerrymandered vote . . .

The detours are as follows: 

- Northbound: Main Street to Truman Road south to Walnut to 14th Street

- Southbound: Main Street to 14th Street east to Walnut south to 16th Street

These road closures will be in effect Monday through Thursday, 10 p.m,-5 a.m. and traffic control will be picked up prior to morning streetcar service.

Repairs to close portion of Main Street beginning Monday - Downtown Council of Kansas City

Crews working on Main Street between 14th and Truman Road North will be performing necessary KC Streetcar track slab repairs beginning Monday, Aug. 2 and concluding early Friday morning, Aug. 6. The noise should be minimal with the loudest activity taking place between 10-11:59 p.m. on Monday Aug. 2.
