KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced Thursday that he has filed a lawsuit against Jackson County over their current mask mandate, similar to his suit against Kansas City, Missouri. Jackson County's current indoor mask mandate went into effect Aug. 9 and is set to expire after 30 days.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt Sues To Block Jackson County Mask Mandate

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt has filed yet another lawsuit seeking to block a local mask mandate implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19, this time targeting Jackson County. The lawsuit is similar to the ones Schmitt has filed against Kansas City and St. Louis County, which also imposed mask mandates.
