Both were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
"Preliminary information suggests the victims in the aforementioned vehicle were attempting to flee from the suspects of the shooting when the crash occurred. Officers located two victims inside the second vehicle involved in the crash who were both transported to area hospitals with life threatening injuries from the crash. Both of those victims are currently listed in critical condition. The victims in the second vehicle were not involved in the original shooting call.
"Investigators obtained potential suspect information from the witnesses at the shooting/crash scene, which led them to a townhome in the 2000 block of Park Tower Drive. Officers responded and made contact with two individuals who came out of the residence. Due to the potential of additional people who may inside the residence, a police standoff/OP 100 has been called to bring additional tactical resources and negotiators to the scene.
