Kansas City Royals Debut COVID Mask Rules: Better To Skip The K?!?

Earlier today that Kansas City Royals shared updated COVID mask policy that applies to both vaccinated people and the spreadnecks.

The media dutifully transcribed the announcement but here's the lingering question . . .

GIVEN THIS GARBAGE SEASON: WOULDN'T FANS RATHER AVOID ADMITTED RISK OF PLAGUE AT THE K THAN ENDURE RISK OF COVID & COMPLICATED MASK PROTOCOLS?!?

Think about it . . .

Middle-class baseball patrons might not be excited to have stadium guards barking at them about the dangers of the plague and ruining their afternoon beer buzz.

Sorry but COVID masks aren't condusive to a good time . . . Even former Prez Obama decided to dance mask-less on his birthday and we don't blame him one bit.

Moreover . . .

There's not much worth watching during these last months of Kansas City baseball. The team typically goes on a soft-core win streak in order to generate kindly sports newsie chatter but this season has been so pathetic that it doesn't really count as yet another "rebuilding" year.

And so, we'll share this www.TonysKansasCity.com news link collection with an open mind and the realization that so many other mediocre Kansas City offerings confront the same dilemma.
