On day one of the COVID mask mandate, public policy crafted by Mayor Q's team has been exposed as dangerous, divisive, authoritarian and completely incompetent.
Because Mayor Q doesn't really understand how small biz works, he has burdened local places with the task of playing pandemic cop.
A loophole in the recent KCMO mask policy doesn't prevent the plague, it merely reveals that 12th & Oak has no idea how real life works outside of their smallish progressive clique.
Although it's a crime, copies of cards can be easily faked or, more likely, some overworked establishment can merely pretend to check.
