On Monday, we're already teasing good times ahead: An upcoming Kansas City display of LGBT pride will kick-off a Summer weekend.
We talked about this streetside celebration last month but here's a sneak peek at display in the works . . .
Local news picked up some of the story but here's a KICK-ASS TKC READER offering an alternative hot take for www.TonysKansasCity.com party people . . . And the eternally curious.
"They are doing this on a Friday afternoon at one of the busiest intersections in Kansas City with few detour options. How will they reroute the always crowded 39th street bus that takes people to their jobs at KU Med? I have a feeling there will be some very upset motorists."
That's a valid question and just a bit of inside scoop given that Friday traffic is typically pretty horrible in Midtown.
Meanwhile, in fairness, we share just a bit more info on the event and promo from a Jackson County political contender . . .
