This morning just after 11am, officers were called to the 600 block of W. 40th Street in regard to a disturbance.  While officers were en route to the location, the call was upgraded to an armed robbery.  Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim (an adult female) who stated she was there to clean the residence.  She stated when she stepped out on the front porch, the suspect (an adult male who does not live there) pulled a knife out and robbed her of her cell phone.  The suspect then ran into the residence closing the door behind him.  The suspect was reported to still be inside the residence.
