Kansas City 'Secret Meeting' To Defund Police Alleged!!!

A few Northland residents with too much money on their hands are celebrating this article that won't amount to much . . .

KC Mayor, City Council may have violated Sunshine law with secret, pre-vote discussions about ordinances defunding the police

The premise/allegation is basically that a "reply all" e-mail chain counts as a public meeting.

Read this aloud whilst doing your best Walter Winchell impersonation in order to make it more entertaining . . .

"Documents obtained by Liberty Alliance show nine City Council members discussing over email which of them would agree to co-sponsor the Mayor’s police funding ordinances, just hours before the same-day vote on May 20. The four Northland Council members were excluded from the emails about the plan, but a quorum of the remaining council members participated, along with City Attorney Matt Gigliotti and the Mayor’s general counsel Jane Brown." 

Again . . .

This is only a big deal if you're a cop's wife, mom, granny . . . Or one of the many frustrated Northland "power players" paying for low-rent online content.

Don't feel bad if you're excluded in this slap fight . . . The Mayor's sycophants at the newspaper knew this was coming and did their best to "preempt" the damage by running their own mostly pointless allegation . . .

Corruption is the Achilles' heel of both capitalism and democracy and what most Americans don't like to consider is that the love of foreign money guides quite a few policy decisions of both progressive AND conservative leaders whilst the plebs slap fight each other over toilet etiquette and unwanted babies.

But I digress . . .

NORTHLAND LEADERS ARE NOW PLEADING WITH THE MISSOURI AG TO INVESTIGATE ALLEGED KANSAS CITY SUNSHINE LAW VIOLATIONS!!!

We wish EVERYBODY the best of luck and believe that this move is far more credible than the old codgers posting homemade "Northalnd Secession" signs in overgrown yards near the public right of way. De-annexation is a long shot but alleged lapses in ethics offer an easy way to embarrass the mayor until we FINALLY get to view that hot dash cam footage featuring an exceptionally precarious parking lot compromising situation. #BallsOut
