KANSAS CITY, Mo. - An 80-year-old man died Monday from injuries suffered in an Aug. 3 wreck in Kansas City, Missouri. According to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, the accident happened at about 10 a.m. at Truman Road and Bennington Avenue.


Lenexa Police Department asks for help identifying burglary suspect

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Lenexa Police Department has asked for the public's help identifying a suspect in a burglary that occurred Monday afternoon. Liberty elementary school temporarily locked down after utility crew heard gunshots

The Liberty Police Department is looking for a suspect vehicle and driver after utility crews reported hearing gunshots near an elementary school Tuesday morning.Officers were called to the 1800 block of Place Liberte Drive around 9:15 a.m.A work crew in the area told officers they heard the sound of gunshots and alerted a neighbor, who called 911.This area is approximately a half mile away from Warren Hills Elementary in a residential area.
