We missed this report earlier in the week but it's worth revisiting. Whilst some might mistakenly believe that a debate over literature might be too haughty for this bloggy slum but we realize that KICK-ASS TKC READERS are more worldly then they might seem at first glance.

The books Davids promoted were listed under "Books on the Struggle for Black Liberation" and included readings by left-wing leaders, like Howard Zinn and Angela Davis. Some of the books listed are "Black Lives Matter at School," "The Anti-Racist Writing Workshop: How to Decolonize the Creative Classroom" and "How Capitalism Underdeveloped Black America."

Kansas lawmaker promoting 'radical' publisher with critical race theory resources

Democratic Kansas congresswoman Sharice Davids is promoting a list of books from left-wing figures, including writings that are considered to be resources for critical race theory (CRT). Davids' private Instagram links to a list of readings posted by Haymarket Books, which describes itself as "a radical, independent, nonprofit book publisher based in Chicago."
