Aftermath: Triple Shooting In Westport Amid Midtown Kansas City Chaos!!!

Police are still investigating this mass shooting but this tragic spate of gunfire is one of the worst to hit the entertainment district all year.

Westport hoped that security checkpoints and a wall would work to stop violence but the barriers failed to prevent this torrent of bullets.

Here's a quick round-up . . .

Officers were able to find three people suffering from gunshot wounds. They immediately offered aid to the victims and cleared a path for medical responders to be able to safely get to the victims.

The victims, one man and two women, were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Even worse . . .

Most of the reports seem to contend that there was a, justifiably, a stampede for cover as shots rang out and hundreds of Westport denizens seemed terrified by the violent scene.

We've noticed Westport getting a bit more rowdy this Summer as the embattled entertainment district seems to be struggling to keep up with the cost demands of security amid an overall downturn in business.
