Kris Kobach Appears on The Ingraham Angle on Fox News to Discuss Vaccine Mandates

Kris Kobach appeared on Fox News' Ingraham Angle to discuss the federal government considering vaccine mandates for COVID-19.

"The constitutional barriers, thank goodness, are significant for them imposing a government mandate at the state or local level," said Kobach. "There are at least three constitutional provisions that they would be violating. The 14th Amendment, protection of liberty interests. The First Amendment if there is a religious objection. And if it is truly forced, there is a Fourth Amendment protection."

Ingraham noted that the federal government may rely on private businesses to do their bidding for them.

"Many states are rushing to put into place statutes that protect their residents from mandates," said Kobach. "I've drafted model legislation that viewers can send to their legislators to get the ball rolling to enact protections at the state level."
