Of course there are exceptions and qualifiers but this weekend we noticed local news playing advocate in order to garner off-kilter quotes from street people rather than working to better understand the "systemic" problems that underlie the issue of the house-less . . . I.E. and the REAL story that was unmentioned anywhere else but this blog . . . 

Mayor Q's largess with taxpayer money blew up in his face this weekend.

Here at TKC we value snark, policy and throwing shade at politicos over telling personal stories and oversharing testimonials that are habitually ignored . . . Except when they're coming from a big booty blonde.

And so, we share homeless "advocacy" from local media that shies away from tough questions against politicos who created this hot mess . . . Check-it . . .

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The homeless community in Kansas City, Missouri is speaking out after their camp in Westport was cleaned up and some people were moved earlier Sunday. This happened after a 90-day program providing free hotel rooms for area homeless ended Thursday.
