Kansas City Star Denies 'Critical Race Theory' Conversation

Normally, slap fights betwixt politicos and "journalists" are boring because both professions are despised by the general public.

However . . . 

This bit of right-wing complaining is useful if only because it provides a behind-the-scenes view of how local politicos still choose to grovel in front dead-tree media and then feign outrage when things don't go their way.

This back and forth is part of the reason that TKC will post a presser from ANYBODY with the CAVEAT that is has to be CAPTIVATING above all.

Derek Schmidt denied opportunity to respond to KC Star attack

Premise . . .

"A recent Kansas City Star opinion piece sharply criticized Kansas Republican gubernatorial candidate and current Attorney General, Derek Schmidt, for signing the “1776 Pledge.” But when Schmidt tried to explain that he signed it because he opposes critical race theory indoctrination in schools, the Star would not publish an opposition to critical race theory."
