Kansas City Preps Boozy Weekend Before COVID Mask Order Redux!!!

A new COVID deadline looms and the reality is that KCMO mask orders will, in fact, dramatically curtail local biz and visitors to party places.  

A great many people question the urgency of the KCMO mask order given that most emergencies don't allow one last weekend of boozing before taking effect. Still, it's not our place to question "the science" behind these municipal edicts. 

And so we notice local biz doing their best of offer a positive spin as they cling to the hope that COIVD delta won't derail their efforts to return to normal.

Kansas City bar prepares for mask mandate

Kansas City bars are finding ways to keep customers coming through their doors and following the mask mandate."I've just stopped being surprised," said David Hayden, communications manager at Up-Down KC. At Up-Down, news of the reinstated mask mandate came easily."We trust the leadership, we trust the scientists, we believe in science, and we do what they tell us to do," Hayden said.
