The homeless in Kansas City are running out of options now that Mayor Q's freebie hotel effort is complete.

Even worse, one of the most KICK-ASS KC INSIDERS notices an important move regarding a controversial ordinance . . .

THE KANSAS CITY TINY HOMELESS VILLAGE IS NOW GOING TO COMMITTEE TO DIE!!!

The EXCEPTIONALLY bad idea has been referred to Finance, Governance and Public Safety Committee wherein 4th District At-Large Council Lady Katheryn Shields serves as chair. 

Don't forget that she shut down this idea with an open letter that earned rebuke from activists but secured her standing amongst the local biz community.

And so, the homeless crisis continues with but, for better & worse, local politics might not be able to use some of these po'folks like props.

City moves homeless camps to parks, now KC parks director says they can't stay

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City homeless camp could be on the move again. Public Works moved Camp 6ixx out of a median in Westport Sunday. Monday Interim Parks and Recreation Department Director Roosevelt Lyons said the city is violating its own ordinances.

City leaders meeting to discuss more stable housing for KC's homeless community

Kansas City's homeless community could get some much-needed help Wednesday. City leaders are meeting to try and work out a plan for more stable housing. This meeting comes in the middle of a lot of change for the city's homeless population.
