Kansas City Homeless Tiny Shelters Reconsidered This Week

Here's a preview of a bitter discussion that will be rehashed, yet again, this week.

Re-Referred to the KCMO housing committee . . .

The impending "Pallet Community" will garner more conversation even if there are now very few supporters of this "solution" that puts the homeless in glorified dog kennels.

Similarly, reconfiguration of zoning rules to support substandard homeless housing is also back in front of the council committee.

Don't get too panicked.

Neither of these efforts have much support.

Moreover . . .

TKC readers contend that council members who vote for this garbage should be required to host the facilities in their neighborhoods.  

A bit of local wisdom and a demand for housing reciprocity . . . 

"If these fools want to vote for this crap then put it in their neighborhoods."
