Afternoon downpours flood Kansas City-area roadways
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A band of heavy rain Wednesday afternoon dumped up to an inch of rain in some parts of Kansas City, leading to localized flooding. This deluge of heavy rain just moved across the city with some high water. Over an inch of rain fell in around 30 minutes.
